Budweiser Super Bowl XLVIII Commercial — “Puppy Love
Well, you may not have seen a bud in the entire ad but you sure felt the emotional relationship between a man’s best friend and a horse. Next time you’re in the grocery store will this ad tip you in the Budweiser direction when selecting beer? I may just buy a 6-pack due to the quality of this production myself.
Amazing billboard campaign from Ogilvy & Mather, BA is running two billboards in London which feature children acting in real-time to flights, plus flight info, going past overhead. The digital boards are on display in Piccadilly Circus and Chiswick – both under the flightpath to Heathrow Airport.
A quick rant on visionaries who are “too busy to be great,” a conversation that could easily carry on with several opinions and solutions.
I repeatedly see these people with their hands in too much – abandoning their original dreams. They’re distractible, becoming good at what they do rather than great. The vision they cast was grand, but the result less than reputable. Not a good reputation.
It’s good to have the gift to cast a vision, in fact it’s a rare gift to be a visionary - but it’s great when a visionary casts a vision and sees it through.
I’ve witnessed visionary’s pass their vision to make room for the next - but the torchbearer lacked the ability to inspire and lead a tribe behind it.
So what’s the solution? Several I’m sure, all that could be mulled over several hours with our best of friends and philosophers at the local pub. But, in my opinion, the ultimate resolution is a visionary who commits to their vision and leads without neglect.
